I think this is possibly pre B-Mob Gh.
The difference between now and then was more of a hierarchy of where you stood. Starting as a nipper at the front then working your way towards the back.
To stand on the right side was what most aspired to but was earnt by going away and getting known.

i was a nipper under the nets at the front and slowly edged back over the years - never going near the side ( as thats where the taking of ends started 0 or the middle (as the knees up mother browns scared me)
