Putting it into perspective .....

....
So much bitching on here nowadays .
Didn't really know what thread to put this on as there are so many, so had to start yet another one . We really need to grow up and put things into perspective regarding last Saturday .

Away support was once again amazing
Flares add to the support and don't do any harm
Thrusting mascot was hilarious and should be taken In the spirit it was meant
Policing was horrendously over the top but I personally expected it to be so , well ,apart from the Berlin Wall
Vandalism in the ground was not needed but alcohol related and could have easily been stopped by stewards
Vadalism outside the ground was again not needed but in my opinion was a response to the policing

It's done now but some people on here still need to argue the point just to get a rise .

I personally had a great day on the booze with some great mates .

Lol , plenty of that on the pitch before hand
  • did we play well? cant seem to remember
  • Apart from the result, I enjoyed the day.

The whole police debate is tedious reading though. Fucks sake, its Monday afternoon - move on with your life!

Diasagree about flares. Loads died in Brazil recently in a club, due to a flare causing a fire.
Also, a couple of people on here mentioned that their dad or whoever got a flare on the head.
Ok so they weren't burnt/injured this time, but sooner or later someone will be.
Just like when the lady down the front of the covered end got hit & hospitalised, a couple of seasons ago, when some idiot threw something from the upper tier.

Looking at the state of you in the Market Porter after the game, I'm not surprised ;-)

I have to comment on vandalism.

Maybe I am a bit of a boring bastard and on my own here. But I was raised in a way that says you cant smash anyones property regardless of any policing or booze intake. It must just be me. Likewise, if in years to come my 4 year old ripped a seat up or smashed up someones car but then said to me "Dad I was pissed and the police annoyed me" his backside wouldnt touch the floor. And to be frank, I am raising him in a way that would make him better than that.

  • Can I just confirm that those in the "it happens all the time", "there's nothing that can be done", "it's a few lads who've had a sherbert too many", "every one else has problems", "every team has a few", "get back to your Bovril" blah, blah, blah club will not be getting on their high horse in a months time when the JS stand is missing more than a few seats, we have a hefty bill from the plumber and maybe a few cars have been vandalised?

I think all of that is a given.
