Millwall supporter mate whos a season ticket older says he was the most impressive striker in terms of link up play thats played there against them this season, particularly in how he shrugged off and bossed danny shittu for the whole game. So hell definitely do a job for them, hard worker and just needs someone to play off him to get the goals..
Its so simple,we can't afford to have Hulse back,and Millwall have lost both there forwards so it must have freed up spare wages for him.Just hope he dont make the differense when we play them.
Yann, Fuller, BWP, Haynes, with Azeez starting to make appearances in a squad currently lining up with one striker. Even if we were rich it would be hard to justify having Hulse with everyone fit
Some interesting comments on that millwall forum such as;
He holds it up well but his touch is shocking
makes sence...

Some players can shield the ball well and retain possession, but often have difficulty doing it without having to make a pigs ear of it on the first touch.

I liked Hulse for his workrate & his experience at this level was evident.
Incredible Hulse!
we'd have a solid 250 at least up there and if Barnsley had wanted a row them scumbags would have had 800+
Braindead.

Jason Euell springs to mind.
I wouldn't say he's been 'pants' but 5 of those goals did come in his first 2 games
