Has anybody knocked up a sponsorship form? If not I'll happily do it tonight, just need to know all the details (I already know time and date, but details of percentage going to demelza and percentage going to valley flags, plus any details about the day like if any old players are going to be there, etc.).

can assure you its not,
everything is 'in train' and people are being approached individually and in small groups to take get involved in certain aspects.
it may be an idea if going forward, if anyone does have any questions it gets mailed to charltonlifecharity@hotmail.co.uk instead of posting it on here. A question gets posted on here, and gets followed up by three points / questions linked to that, and that's when it starts getting confusing.
jumbling it all up seems confusing and asking people who have no interest in charlton to give money to a non charity for charlton,seems weird to me.

the valley flags bit will stop people from sponsoring and affect the tax breaks for demelza
Peakey's point is a very valid one, and is currently being looked into.
We've got a meeting in the next week when we will be able to put forward more details of all the periphery details, including provision of sponsorship forms, raffle / draw details, post-game drinks, allocation of funds, programme etc.
If we can get those bits out first, then raise any issues / improvement after that stage then it will help everything remain orderly,
For now, if those who enquired to play could reply to the questions asked in the email i sent to everyone last week to charltonlifecharity@hotmail.co.uk, and if anyone has any other points to raise to mail that address, than that would be great.
For Valley Flags, we can auction off a signed banner at the game, and split the money between Demelza and VFC
That's a matter of opinion Curb_It I am, sure a few people who will be playing that day will be likening themselves to Pele..! :-)
