Pritchard for me as well - i liked him last year but now see him as a key player in our side which he wasn't last year - I'd also wrote Stephens off as well but there is no doubt he has added bite to his game this year and is much improved.
Maybe Hollands will come again - didn't he have a bit of an injury early season and i think the defeat by palace saw a bit of a panic and need to act and hollands was one of those who was probably pinpointed. If he was right on top of his game i reckon he could do a job for us now we've got our act together although wouldn't really be a starter. I think that defeat by palace worried a few but i don't think anybody realised at the time just how good a couple of their players were.
For this season I'd say Ceddy. I thought he'd be a L1 player by the end of his development. I never thought he'd be keeping Wiggins on the bench in the Championship as I am sure he will continue to do for a few more weeks. He's always been good going forward but it seems like the defensive side of his game has improved as well. Need to get him tied down to a new deal as his contract is up in the summer I think. Really pleased with him

Think he had to have one of his toes fused BD. Enjoyed his performances last season and was looking forward to seeing him at this level. On the plus side Pritchard who has grabbed his late opportunity with both hands.
Lots of positives: Hamer, Pritch, Wilson, Haynes have all stepped up very well. The only downsides really would be Hollands and BWP, both of whom I'm sure can make it, but seemed to lose a bit.
13 games, one goal, two assists, awful in last outing v Ipswich since which we've not lost a league game, offered to Notts Co as part of a two for one offer for Judge.
Was a part of our Championship season for which he should always be remembered positively but time for him to move on. Hasn't stepped up at this level despite being given 13 chances.
The man covers the most ground in the team by a long way, although he is mainly a defence minded midfielder, he's often seen attacking and crossing. Work rate is unbelievable, refreshing as well as so much emphasis is put on whether you're a holding midfielder or an attacking midfielder these days, he does the lot!
Been pleasantly surprised with a fair few this season, especially those who weren't even starting at the end of last season in league 1.
But it has to be Pritchard for me. I used to be slightly disappointed if I saw his name on the team sheet, now I'd be utterly shocked if it wasn't. If he keeps his form up I reckon he's well on course to win player of the year.
I'd like to come up with a different name but can't. Definitely Pritchard for me. I thought he looked a bit out of his depth in League 1 at times. Never thought he'd play such a major role in the Championship. I do feel sorry for BWP. He hasn't really been given a chance this season and probably won't now that 4-5-1 seems the way to go.

Danny Green's performance at Derby County showed he had stepped up a level and is more than capable in the Championship. It would of course be fair to argue he has failed to maintain this level on a consistent basis. This can be partly attributed to himself and partly to the midfield in general (a midfield consistently playing well and to his strengths would have brought out the best in him on a more consistent basis).

I disagree that he hasn't shown the promise in 13 chances. His most recent form certainly hasn't been his best, but I do remember a number of people commenting (including myself) that he looked decent at the beginning of the season - particularly at home against Blackburn and away to Ipswich. Looked like the only major threat to Palace when he came off the bench too.
The sort of player who may only produce one or two great moments a game. May not be enough but he is talented. I can imagine him being an Ambrose like player who we would let go and then become a revelation somewhere else.
BWP hasn't had a chance? He's had 11 starts, 7 sub apps and scored 1 goal. He's struggled to cause problems at this level and lost his place.
You're quite right. I just feel a tad disappointed that his game isn't suited to the style which the team has successfully developed this season, especially after he did so well in League 1. Nine of his eleven starts this season were in the opening nine games, before the team had got into its stride, and the 10th was against Middlesbrough - again, before we really got going in this league. In fact we hovered just above the relegation places for most of the time before November. Since then, leaving aside cup games, he's started just once. Still, if rumour is to be believed, he'll be off to MKD soon and perhaps that will be more his level.
Ben hamer surprised my son and nephew yesterday - walked straight past them outside my brothers house in chislehurst. Told them they should have tested him with a quick snow ball before he was set.

a lot of rose tinted glasses with regards to bwp if you ask me - from november onwards he was a liability last year
Definitely Wilson. I was very worried we'd overpaid for what I believed to be league 1 player at best. But he has shone in this league and is one of my favourite players to watch now (on the ball and for his character off the ball).
As of late 2012/ early 2013, Stephens has greatly impressed me.
Scott Wagstaff.......two games, two wins and 1 goal.........from someone that gets murdered at times on this site,,,,Everyone stepped up a gear when he came back.......
I think Sir Chris has realised that having a winger - who may have a good game or may be anonymous from one week to the next is not the way to go in this league. When you see Solly and Wilson link up - you get defensive stability, workrate and good width.
Good, Cort - Man mountain who gets in the way of everything (well most) Bad, Hollands - thought he would step up but so far looks like a league 1 player
Bradley Pritchard. Many of our good moves and goals come from his work. Also noteworthy is his work off the ball; he closes down, gets in the way, breaks up a move before it gets going. He reminds me of Keith Jones, who I rated highly. But whilst Jones had played at the top level with Chelsea, Pritchard has come from non-league Hayes and Yeading. Well done to whoever scouted him. What a find!

Green, Frimpong, BWP, Hollands, Cook (hasn't featured as much as I would have thought)
Positive:
Main candidate - Pritchard, Solly, Hamer, Jackson. If only Haynes could remain injury free his number of performances have been impressive.
Agree with Hamer. Has cut out the handling mistakes and really looks the part at a higher level.
Could be that eye op or just regular games and good coaching.

P.O.T.Y for me so far.
