Yes, I remember him as a youngster. Played up front with Leigh Hales, Killer's son. Both looked decent at 16/17 but Hales slipped from view.

When I think of him I think of his reaction when he scored his first goal for us. You can keep your choreographed, writing on the t-shirt under my kit pre meditated nonsense, that was pure, unbridled joy.

Could this have freed up wages for MK Dons to sign BWP?

Fun fact: Charlie's goal was the first Charlton goal I ever saw at The Valley

Scored 2, both important, one the winner against QPR and the other was an equaliser against Newcastle

More likely to pay Izale McLeods wages who they have re-signed on a 2 yr deal.

Saw Charlie MacDonald play for Orient last night at Brentford. He was up front with David Mooney and O's also had Lee Cook (who was superb) on the wing and Omusuzi as sub right back. What with Paul Hayes up front for Bees, quite a collection of former Charlton players.

No Lisbie (must be injured) or Azeez. Cook was the pick of the bunch....lots of skill, great crossing and a brillaint long shot to equalize. Omozusi looked very sharp too.

Azeez tweaked his dodgy hamstring last Saturday - and subbed.

The O's equaliser cost me a grand. Dammit.
