Fixtures left, how many points will we get?

I can see Bristol City at home on the 4th May as a must win game.
Also 26th Jan against Wednesday.
9th Feb against Birmingham.
+ atleast draws against Peterborough and Barnsley.

I'm hoping we can get a couple of wins and draws from the rest which would leave us on 49 points.
It sure is starting to look tight.

  • Absolute minimum 24 points ... No problem

  • Win any seven of the home games and we should be safe, without any points we pick up in away games, if we can pick up a minium of nine points from the away games, we then only need to win four at home, wish I had a crystal ball, I think we will be safe by the Leeds game.

  • All our home games left are on a Saturday.
  • and we've not won one home saturday game this season!

Really don't want to be going into Middlesborough away needing something
  • Beat Huddersfield in the Cup and the SW game will have to be moved, also we are due1more televised game
  • 26 points, so should be OK
  • Enough to stay up

Blimey we are 5 months away...
  • Our fate depends to some extent on what happens in the transfer window. If we were to keep our best players, I'd say we'd cope and do enough to enable a mid-table finish. To lose our key players would be a blow, but, that said, CP has had to make changes all season due to injuries and suspensions. Sometimes we've shown our adaptability and done well and at others we've looked really fragile. If we were to purchase some new players, how long might it take them to settle in? It's all a bit 'let's see what happens', isn't it? Being an optimist, I think we'll be okay. We'll have a better idea at Easter.

On the other hand losing say Solly for a decent wedge, could enable weaknesses in central midfield to be sorted. being a pessimist I cant see us getting another point all season, but I think that from game 1 every season.

  • 5 of the next 8 games are away and can't see us winning one of them or picking up over 2 pts so its all down to the home games for me , very nervous looking at them fixtures !
  • We will pick up 23 before the final game. If we are safe then it will be 26. If not....
  • Nervous now, stupid thread.
  • I'd like us to get 50 plus - staying up looks our main aim this season. If our home form doesn't improve we're f***ed!
  • 21 points
  • More worried about where next win Will come from
  • One down six to go

4 wins and 5 draws out of the last 20 games gets us to 50 points.

  • Two down five to go
  • 60 points from 46 games.

    3 wins and 5 draws from 19 now, or 4 & 4.
  • That's a pretty challenging end of season run in - (as it stands) every game is against promotion prospects or relegation battlers.
  • i think bar the palace , leicester cardiff and boro game the rest are winable
  • Just enough is the answer I think.
  • Just had a peep in the old crystal ball ........ I reckon we're on course for 60 points this season.

Where did you buy it Oggy ? Jessops ?
  • Anyone can beat anyone in this division.

It's all about who turns up on the day.
  • This means that if you put a run together you can challenge for the play offs as teams do drop points against each other. Is such a run beyond us- I don't think so. Absolutely no fears about relegation - we will be in the top half not the bottom half when all is said and done - just where in the tiop half is the key question!
