Some parts of the pitch look pretty bad. Pitch will cut up. A 10 minute downpour during the game and it will be abandoned

Thanks for the heads up everyone. Took my waders and brook rod. Teased out a nice wild brownie from around the Northend penalty spot area.

Anyone who thinks the pitch was in bad nick has clearly never played football at Mottingham playing fields. It looked pretty good to me.
