Apologies if there has been a thread on this already, but how are everyone getting to Watford on New Years Day? Is there any bank holiday closures on the railways? I've looked on the TFL website but it says the Christmas period plans aren't available.

Trains are all fine as far as I know mate. That's how I plan to get there anyway. Don't forget it's a 1pm KO.

Watford is in Zone 9 so make sure there's money on your Oyster! £5.50 each way if you go via Watford Junction

I'm going with an oyster, a zone 1-9 travelcard will be the best bet.

There's a direct train from Romford to Ilford. Hope this helps.

I'm going to Watford High Street then 10 minutes walk to the ground. I suppose it's also £11 return with an Oyster. Correct ?

Train to Lpool St, Tube from Lpool St to Euston Sq and then train from Euston to Watford Junction.
