  • I am on 12 hours nights Christmas Day and Boxing Day the 12 days New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
    I expect them to be very busy as we get loads of people die on Christmas Day!!

  • On emergency call out from the 21st December all week 24 hours a day so I'm hoping no calls though a nice local one on Christmas Day mid morning would be a nice little earner.

  • I always cook our xmas dinner (& sunday roasts)
  • After much "discussion" our boss has decided to close the school on Xmas and boxing day, however we do have do a performance in front of 5/600 hundred people on Xmas eve, loads of professional performers and musicians then 15 of us. Not going to be fun.

    99% certain we will be closing the bar for good from Jan 1st mate.

  • Work in electrical wholesale, finish on 21st, back on 3rd Jan, as no sparks will be working, but as a key holder who lives 2 minutes from work (ingress park to Crossways) I can open up if a customer needs something in an emergency (One of our contractors is staffed by Jehovah's witnesseses only, strange but true)

    Is that some form of racism?

    Company is owned by a JW, they either all come and work for him through contacts or convert later down the line, only 1 currently (out of 6/7) is non JW I think
