Hahaha stig, I'll be signing autographs in the the lib at the next home game lol... You've made my day....... NSS get there early for your's there will be a big queue.
His best celebration was was the two footed lunge (eurpoean goal i think) after his sending off against man utd. I thought the glasses was a two fingers up to the ref after that sending off.
The best part of Shelvey's performance was his dribble near the end when he went past three players from left to right and laid it off for a blocked shot.
Truth is that all players need a bit of luck and Shelvey might end up being lucky in that the woeful signings Dalglish made means that Rogers has no choice but to give him a chance, previous managers would have signed a 'Carlos Kickaball' but Rogers can't so has to play Shelvey.
Fingers crossed it looks like Shelvey is taking his chance, we all know that at a big club an English player can't just be OK, he has to be really good to stay in the frame and Shelvey looks like hitting that mark.
The 'goggles' celebration is for his brother and the rest of the family who all wear glasses as Jonjo is the only one who doesn't. Something like that anyway. Can you confirm @uncle?

For a Midfielder to play the lone striker role to an acceptable standard against Premier league opposition you have to be impressed, very versitile.
It turns out he hasn't been banned from here after all, but you know how those Mickey's love a campaign.
