First game back at the Valley - Where are they now?

With the 20th anniversary of that famous day being celebrated tomorrow I thought it might be appropriate to remember the eleven who started that day and try to see whether we can find out what they are doing now?

To assist us with this little exercise I have listed the players involved the game below:-


Bolder, Pitcher, Minto, Gritt, Webster, Balmer, Robinson, Power (Grant 89), Leaburn, Nelson, Walsh. Sub (not used): Pardew.

Gary Nelson was running an Essex based media/promotions company after a stint with the PFA and as player/coach with Torquay United. Often seen at home games.

Pardew is certainly the most renowned manager but Steve Gritt's achievement in rescuing Brighton from the dead and keeping them in the league is the greatest "success" in my opinion.
