  • Think the big screen is going to do something which should help.

I'd like a rendition of 'Back to the Valley' too

    Absolutely.
I hope the game is not a constant " we're the red and white army" etc.. borefest. Let's have a few proper songs & a loud atmosphere to match on what will be a very special day for our little club.

Meh, who am I trying to kid?!

"We played all our games away"?

  • I heard that the East Standers will be waving tartan blankets above their heads.

But sadly, nothing will awaken the West Upper.

Well I for one will be standing/clapping/singing in the WU at 3:07 so it's just as well if everyone behind me IS asleep...siddarrn!
  • Good man, Cat. Others will follow your example.
  • Well they don't normally, but we can only hope.... ;-)
  • It will bring it back - wouldn't a goal after 8 minutes really top it all off?

    Jesus, no pleasing some people
  • I think Walshie should be on the bench and in the 7th minute come on for a one minute cameo apprearance

As long as it is us and not Brighton!

Fecking cheek. What will you be doing at 3.07 then, tucking into another Oggy at home?

Let's hope the applause at 7 mins continues as a wall of noise for the rest of the game.

We need atmosphere and we need to be up for it!

    "Wall of noise" - funny!

Unless Phil Spector is coming in to do the pre-match entertainment? Quick rendition of "River Deep Mountain High" and a shooting.

lol ..... when I'm up, I often sit with my dad in West Upper, so speak from experience.

I'd rather be at the match tomorrow, Offy. You know that.

    ;o)

I think this game should have been a £5 ticket

Why when Brighton have sold out at a much higher ticket price?
The away ticket price would have stayed the same. Seems logical for football for fiver when it's our anniversary.

We are trying to limit our losses, not increase them.
You don't sell tickets for £5, when people are willing to pay £25.
I suppose we could sell popular games for a £5 & sell a player to make up the loss.
  • Tom Morris photo that he allowed us to use for the CASTrust news.....
showing Colin's goal...... get in there!

So, you reckon we will be close to a sell out tomorrow?

    I reckon they'll be 21,000 minimum.

    11,000 have S/Ts, so 10,000 paying an average £22 (& reckon it's more) = £220K (Adult tickets are £30,£25 & £22).

    You'd prefer 27,000-11,000 S/Ts = 16,000 paying £5 = £80k.

Makes us £140K worse off, so sell Hollands & we're ok ?

I know this is guess work, but think it's realistic.
