2-1, hard fought game...think JJ is better suited to the middle of the park to be honest.....I'll also be at the game....so @LancashireLad has agreed to do the match thread.
I like JJ on the left in front of Wiggins but a Seaborne-JJ combination doesn't work for me. Maybe try Green and Haynes out wide in a 5 man midfield. 2-2 draw
An undefeated-for-six games Charlton sit back and start slowly with Jackson, Pritchard, Kerkar and Stephens, panic after going a goal down 5 minutes after the start, get sloppy, get a player sent off for a stupid tackle and we lose 2-0.
Alternatively the raucous racket of the north stand drives on a lively and eager team with Solly, Frimpong, Haynes, Kermy, Wilson and Seabourne getting on each others wavelength, passing like Stoke and overunning a nervous team of seagulls to win 3-1.
No concerns about the back four or any combination that we put up front. Like most I think we have struggled to get a steady battling midfield arrangement with a bit of bite and some pace ..... This will be the key I think and another loss in the capitol for the seagulls ... 1 -0 to the Charlton.
I really didn't like the truth in Poyet's words the last 2 times the teams met at the Valley in that Brighton were a class above us, even though it was true. He was marking the rise of Brighton rather than knocking us but it still hurt. Therefore it would be nice to beat them to see if he says something similar. Not sure we will 2-0 to Brighton.
