  • It's Darren Pitcher who needs the tin hat!
  • Ha ha, Pitcher is going to get pelters. Nobody dare ask him about the Blackburn goal - that's what he wants!
  • Should be interesting with Pitcher as a guest. Was Bob invited as a guest or peace keeper?
  • We asked for Bob, I think we got Darren on a special offer : - )

It was a long time ago, he did play in the first game back and come through the youth system
  • I can't wait for the Defoe and Parker combo in the New Year.
  • Pitcher!, he can have his shirt back if he wants that I have
  • Someone ask Pitcher did he think maybe it was not such a good idea to do the Valley Gold half time draw vs Watford in October 1994?
  • Are we allowed to bring weapons?
  • See if you can get Dowie and Pardew down next May for the "Back To The Championship" and "Back To League 1" anniversaries.
  • i'll Tell my Bro @Morts Genius he loves Pitcher ;-)

One of my mates said he can't make it, but asked me if I would get Pitcher's autograph for him.

He then requested that I rip it up in front of him & stuff it down his greedy throat :-)

Another mate requested that I tell Pitcher, that he ran the whole length of The Covered End in order to boo him :-)
  • All those attending should wear Mickey Mouse ears !
  • Bizarre! I was telling someone half an hour ago about it being the Valley anniversary, and the conversation got round to Walshies immortal quote "Darren did well for a player of limited ability..."
  • I think I read somewhere that Darren Pitcher's version of the events surrounding his departure are a little different to the one that we were led to believe at the time. Also I think the years may have humbled him somewhat so I think he'll be a good guest.
  • much appreciated Bromley..
  • You're welcome

I still want to know what Sweaty Balmer said to him to make him believe he was speaking to Kenny Dalgleish.
  • Come along and ask him then
  • Will anyone be in there at 6

  • Apologies, have a trust meting that night. Have a good one
  • Trust meeting ? We moved to the 12th not to clash with any trust meetings !!

Darren should be a good guest and you can all ask him the things you have been bottling up for 20 years :)
  • I've got a spare smoke bomb for Pitcher & you'll have to stop me from throwing my chair :-)
  • Darren Ditcher - was a newspaper headline after he scored against Blackburn to knock em out the cup. Happy memories. I was a lad and had it cut out and on my wall for months.

Would have gone to this but with a 3 week old new CAFC fan at home i won't be able to this time.
