  • I had a very undercooked Sausage Roll from the NL kiosks before the game

Same from the back of the north upper, as regular purchasers of both steak and chicken curry pies Not Happy not happy at all!!!!!
  • I always looked forward to my steak pie....now its a floppy, greasy pretender masquerading as a "steak slice". Something seriously wrong at the club.
  • Who ate all the slices
    Who are all the slices

    Not quite the same..
  • My 10 year old son was very disapointed, he said that he had only just learnt to eat a pie at a football match :-(

Anybody online ("in the know") that can explain this crisis ?

    I want a Pie revival !!!
  • Yes agreed, No Pies. I wanted my chicken balti and a pint for a fiver.
But no a chicken tikka slice and a pint for a fiver!

Season Ticket has gone back on the strength of this nonsense....bloody takeovers.....Grrrr....
  • how about a cockles & whelks stall?

    :-)

Think this thread is a Red Herring.

  • No Pies again in the north stand last night, the woman behind the counter didnt understand English well enough to know the difference between a pie and a slice.

She then tried to charge me £63.55 (should have been £6.35) and then had to get her Supervisor to explain the error.

The cheesburger (pie repacement) tasted like shit!!
I wont be eating inside the ground any more!!

    Rant over

  • Was well peeved last night. Midweek games just aren't the same without a pie.

Substitute Cornish Pastie was a poor replacement.
  • Im glad the pie has been dropped.

Yes, it may have satisfied larger numbers, filled the void of hunger and essentially got a job done but it just doesn’t have the panache of a slice or pastie.

    Powell out.
  • I don't see the pastie as a long term replacement and the slice is just too lightweight.

Does anyone know of any decent left sided meat and pastry products we can get in on loan until the window opens?

I hope new investment comes in as we are going to have to spend big in January to keep pace with all those Mrs Miggins wannabe clubs
  • we have too many league one food stuffs.

If we want to kick on we need fast food with a dash of spice.

  • Problem is that Championship vittles cost a fair bit. Maybe we could get some menu options from a Premiership club until the end of the season. Haloumi did OK at the Emirates, but there's no place for it amongst the host of foreign gourmet options that they've brought in.
  • Thought I'd have a cheeseburger in Upper North. The middle bar & east side bar didn't appear to be selling them. Bought one from the west side bar & it was bloody cold ! Didn't take it back as 2nd half had kicked off.
  • Curry pie > Tikka slice

I for one am shocked and appalled that I will only be able to enjoy the smooth yet spicey, succulent and sensuous taste of a chicken balti pie away from home now. Scandalous I tell ye.
