It's because we have the same thread every time we win a game Offy. Get's a little tedious.
  • I'm with the original poster on this.

We do have some idiots who were writing him off, as well as a number of our players.

All of a sudden we have won three in a row and they're talking about the Play-offs.
  • i must have seen all of 2 people, who dont regularly post, asking for Powell to be removed as manager
  • And you only see one of those posters when the chips are down. I remember last season when we had a minor wobble (whilst still top) he said he would save the plaudits for the end of the season if we won the league. Funnily enough he didn't come back at the end of the season... only when we lost last month.

Well I saw more than that who were maybe not asking for him to be removed, but we calling him 'inept' and questioning whether he had a clue what he was doing.

    This!
  • Just hope people don't get too excited if we don't go up this season and finish 4th from bottom , that is the priority for me this season , anything else should be treated as a bonus.
  • Some people seem to revel in it,if we are not doing well.Have never understood the total negativity when we lose.Nobody wants us to lose a game but the overreaction does my head in.Powell is the right man for the job,he will still be the right man for the job should we lose on Saturday.Despite all the rumblings around the club,re cash flow problems, ownership of the club,PE becoming the new Chair etc.I am very bullish about us at the moment. We have a great academy with excellent coaches and players. The first team are recovering from a sticky start and obviously want to play for Powell.CP is Charlton through and through. We have a Supporters Trust that is being launched which I think that all Supporters should get behind.Yes we would all like the Owners to be more open in their communication with the fans, but that is not going to happen all the timeTJ and MS are in charge.I have also been dissappointed that people like Varney and Kavanagh have not been thanked officially for what they have done for the Club.Perhaps the new owners when they arrive will be more open.Let us hope.
