Chrissy powells red and White army

I dunno about everyone else, but I feel the key ingredient to success on Tuesday was getting behind the team from the outset and especially at 0-1, 0-2... Now, we have long been labelled a quiet bunch without a massive identity but I feel a new tradition would be starting every game with a 20 minute consecutive 'Chrissy powells red and White army' .... Why? Easy to remember and will show our large support - a Cardiff mate said to me on Tuesday he felt intimidated by the consecutive Chrissy powell.... So.... At the risk of 'one song....' it will firm up our support for the team. Thoughts?

More to the point CA why are you up ............way past your bed time (smiley face)
  • I'm up for that, just the other 17 odd+ thousand to go...
  • I hate to admit it but the palace ultras have certainly got their players up for every game. Tuesdays atmosphere made a hell of a difference, I sit in the east stand and even some of them were clapping!!
Great support Tuesday let's see more of it. The players will feel the boost...
Look at the likes of Millwall, spurs, Chelsea etc the fans CAN BE the 12th man..(at times)
  • all our lot do is moan!!!!!!!
  • all our lot do is moan!!!!!!!

We just need to moan in unison to the same tune then. Now that would create an intimidating atmosphere......................
  • I think that's a gr gr great idea ! Start every match with Chrissie Powell's Red & White Army for at least 10 mins, then when we've had enough, switch to other songs.

    But just keep singing !

Totally agree with this post. It might drown out the half dozen or so managers who sit behind me and moan like f*** through virtually every game.

    Tossers
  • Yes totally agree. I am a lone wolf in the east stand (certainly around where I sit who sings (even red Robin) and I thought Tuesday was terrific for this and yes especially when we are losing; it shows a fighting spirit that says we are going to win even if 2-0 down and would be an even greater boost if done throughout the game but especially at the beginning of both halves for as long as possible but at least 15 minutes and yes keep the song simple with chrissy powells red and white army. I will definitely sing along until i give myself a headache which is ultimately what happens.
  • I feel a lone wolf in the upper west! Damn those flasks and rugs they get in the way! Tuesday's noise was amazing and should be repeated every game as a tactic.

Why not leave the dark side, Eynsford, and join us in the light( the East ) !
  • You have a cardiff mate!!!!! :(
  • Totally Agree...10 mins at the start of every game would set the tone for the rest of the game
  • Think 20mins of the same song might get a bit boring.
