I conciously used a different turnstile and made sure that the ticket collector was on my right. I also wore a different scarf that I hadn't worn to the Valley before. The last time I wore this particular scarf was to the Fulham game in last season's FA Cup. It may also be extremely relevent that I had Liver and Bacon Casserole at my father in law's before we left for the match. Not just an ordinary Liver and Bacon Casserole but this one was particularly salty. Another intersting point is that we arrived twenty minutes early. Whether I can repeat this chain of events remains to be seen but I do believe that superstition is a very important aspect of this wonderful game.
Wore my 'Deep into the Valley where angels fear to tread' scarf for the first time this season. Don't wear it to away games but it will definitely be given another outing against Uddersfield.
did lots of things differently yesterday and am buggered if i can pin point which one made the difference...going to go for getting my hair cut before the game.
Wore a different coat & long boots for a change ( nothing else though) , dined in Legends for Mr F & Don The Driver's birthdays ( NEVER won when we've eaten in there on a Saturday) and didn't take the "lucky" half time apples to munch .

Same clothes set out already for Sunday.
Just a coat and boots and nothing else?!
I hope it was a thick coat on a cold night
:-)
Well, Lennie, I had been hatching a cunning plan and when we went 2-0 down , thought I'd have to go through with it...
Had we conceded 2 more with no reply, I planned to hurdle the E Block gate, dash onto the pitch removing said coat & boots on the way, chain myself to Hamer's left goalpost , swallow the key and get the game abandoned.
Fortunately for all concerned, JJ saved the day and the rest is history.
Couldn't have the gaffer's position put in further jeopardy with another 4-0 defeat.
Wore my black pork pie hat for first time this season. Must have been lucky last season when I wore it - I thought it was just the team playing well. Must make the hat part of the match day 'uniform' now.
Went down at half time early, missing the goal. Infact the last time I had went down early at HT, I also missed a goal, v Huddersfield last season. May have to start doing it more often.
My girlfriend has only been to 3 games this season, Leicester, Blackpool away and Cardiff, I promise you all she will be going to the rest. I'll take this one for the team!!!
for the first time ever sat in a Starbucks (leaching their free wi-fi) & listened to the game, it was my lucky Triple venti sugar free, non fat, no foam, extra caramel, with whip caramel macchiato medium black coffee that did the trick
It was me that did it. During the day I went for a haircut at my usual hairdressers, a husband and wife business. Geoff, the husband and a wet spam supporter, my usual haircutter for the last 25 years, was at the bookies (losing even more money) so his wife cut my hair. I'm sure this change was responsible for our win - but not sure if I can afford or have enough hair for a weekly visit. Also Geoff may become a little suspicious of my intentions if I send him to the bookies every time I visit his shop.

Saw you rushing along Floyd Road after Saturdays game - Ms Latimer could hardly
keep up with you, poor girl.
Wore a new badge. One I wore for Barnsley and Boro obviously not doing the biz so got a "league one Champions badge from the Club shop. Hey Presto.
By my logic then, the more I drink the more we score. Or it may be down to the pie & kebab combo I had. Or both.
