Got a friend who is best pals with Alex Dyer. He was chatting away the other day about Charlton and the conversation led onto communication between Powell/Dyer, Slater/Jimenez and also Paul Hart. According to Dyer, there isn't any communication whatsoever. Powell and Dyer deal with the team and have no contact with the board or Hart and his side of things. Gave me a real insight into the club and how tough it is for Powell and Dyer to move the club forwards.
This must have some influence on the team ?

But we have never let facts get in the way of a good slagging off of the board before so grab your torches everyone, its time for another board witchhunt.
He basically chuckled and said no way.
I didn't think Powell would, but as Hart is an experienced manager I thought I'd ask the question.
Your making this whole Dyer thing up aren't you?
It is clearly not true that there is no communication between the board, the first team management and the academy. We have signed first team players which requires board approval / money and we have given contracts to academy players which requires input from all three parties.
I suspect he said something along the lines of there not being daily communication / as much as he wants / has had before / happens in other clubs.
I don't believe any of the rumours on here start with bare-faced lying. They just start with different interpretations, relayed third party conversations and a lack of context.
