He's cracked the away form.. It's a solution that's not far from working at home.

This team obviously needs three central midfielders. BWP is not a solution in the champ during the heavy winter and spring months. This squad is good enough for the champ. The challenge is to be very difficult to beat in the hard middle third of the season. This squad is good enough to do that.

I don't think the solution is 4-4-2 at home, but pace. Both Green and Haynes should play in matches like Barnsley, otherwise against better resourced teams like Boro and Blackburn you frustrate then bring the Haynes/Green on second half. Doesn't matter what you think this squad can't play 4-4-2, apart from against some very wounded champ teams. Yes we'll have some awful matches like against Barnsley, but the trick is to be not chasing matches at half time and we'll win enough.

So would not gifting the opposition three and capitulating for a fourth. Get your nose in front and stay there!
  • goals wins games who's going to create one ?.
  • I agree eith 4-5-1 bit at hpme tje two out wide need pace, and possibly switch sides. Haynes & Waggy would be my choice.
  • Agree on playing 3 CMs, has been clear that's the way to go for a while now. All about being difficult to beat with this squad.

Would like to see Waggy on the bench, not convinced Cook is a better option at the moment.
  • Have we got a recall on Waggy?

Wilson might be out for a while so I'd have him back for cover at the very least,
  • Get anyone with pace in the side, play azeez, harriott and sho-silva for all I care, if you are going to give the ball away time and again just make sure you have players who can keep up with the opposition!
  • Parked next to Waggy in the car park yesterday. Was with his 'rents.
