Any of you guys based in Toronto?
Toronto - man alive have you seen the traffic on the 401 ?? Worse than the southern section of the M25 on a Friday night !!!
Welcome to the board CanadaAddick and Anxious - lots of live prem games to see on Saturday mornings in Canada....
I'm just 2 hours north of Toronto, at least until June. I travel into the city quite regularly every month, so stay in touch and I can try and help you find your feet. It's a great city, I'm sure you'll like it.
right now I'm in an equally cold and snowy Winnipeg but we live in Calgary although I get up to Edmonton on business once or twice a month so I'll PM you next time I'm making the trip. My 6 year old is a keen Charlton fan which makes 6 in Alberta but he seems to be getting interested in some strange game they have over here called hockey?? :0)
Im leaving snowy Canada in the next few weeks. The Valley has a strong hold on us which we just cant resist. Back to the Valley, Were coming back to the Valley, Back to the VALLEY, were coming back to the valley.
Hey CanadaAddick - i've just come back to Canmore after 3 days in Edmonton, bloody freezing Mon/Tue but lovely today - ended up having one of the best Greek meals i have ever had in a Taverna on 124th Street. I like Edmonton - cool city.
Go to Yiannis on Whyte Avenue, great greek food. Theres also a fantastic Chippy on 104st 116 Ave its called Brits, its run by a scot. Good grub. I work at Chemistry clothing on 104 Ave just off Whyte. Its mens Clothing. Actually im there now typing away to you all. its a cool shop and we sell alot of english brands. Im off to Banff at the weekend to do some skiing. whats the weather like over that way.
+3 & snowing lightly in Canmore - supposed to be good conditions this weekend, a little warmer & hopefully not too icy - i will be snowboardin' at Sunshine on Saturday - if you are there & fancy a beer during the day let me know.............

Saturday Morning games - hmmm. Sounds like a good way to start the weekend.
Actually, itgtr, I was planning to spread the trips over the next fizzy pop season and leave a big gap for our triumphant return to the prem!
