Tareiq Holmes-Dennis has signed his first professional deal with the club

Felt the need to post this as looked at transfer news and was first bit :) nothing on here but says he is highly regarded left back 17, probably needs to go out on loan for a few seasons though

being up to 2 years younger than most, he stood out in the man utd youth cup game last year.
even more impressive to find out he is thought of as a left back, as in that game was playing c/m.
  • Seen a lot of this boy, converted to a left back from a midfielder.Has got a lot of ability on the ball, also got a decent shot on him.Good luck to him in his future career.

Don't tend to go to youth games but did go to that one, and was excited to watch those players i had heard all about; Azeez, Poyet, Sho Silva etc but this lad really stood out (much like Solly did when I went to watch a game to see how good Jonjo was a few years ago). Good luck and well done to him.
  • Good for us and good for him. Well done.

You ought to go to more,if you can.I enjoy these games as much,if not more, than the first team games. At least we win more at Under18 level.

  • Our best youth player on FM13 so be interested what Scoham thinks of him!
  • It is very telling that we have re-employed three previous youth players. Of the current squad am I right in saying that Chris Solly is the only one who has progressed seamlessly through the system?
A large part of me was delighted that circumstances allowed Harriott to get up to substitute level in the last two games, because if having a youth system is to have a purpose it is to grow players for our first team, something we have done much better than, say, Crystal Palace have in the last twenty years.
With Razak going back to Manchester City I would like to think that some kind of space is then cleared for one of ours.

You would think the youth system is for progressing players into the first team. But with the current alleged money problems it is a way of making money through selling our best talent.

  • Not on the OS?

  • Quality name! Good luck to the lad
  • Went to my school. Can see him going far
  • Very happy for him, he went to my school and was the year below me but he's very good, he had a few other clubs sniffing around him a while back so it's good to see him sign.
  • Got to have a double-barreled name to get anywhere in football these days.
  • Confirmed in the joe Gomez story on the OS
