  • If Leeds don't score at least 4 then I'll be shocked
  • Not sure we can take anything from this but then I thought the same about Blackpool away and look what happened. Weird league this
  • Most pessimistic pre-match thread in ages.

Hedging my bets here. No more than one goal per team so four possible results.
  • Been in Hull since yesterday, feel like shit, heading today and not going to the game. Which means we will win.

Not convinced we will get a result ... but based on our away form, will go for 1-1 ... hopefully we get something as my son has just left for Elland Road ... gonna be a long day (and night) for him if we screw up

  • Cheers for all the positives!
Just putting on my lucky pants before we leave
    Come on u reds
  • Please give the lads a big shout from me, floyd.

    Safe journey.
  • I hope Hamer has got his gum-shield in for this one!
  • Charlton Athletic
    • Charlton are pursuing only their second home league win of the season, having only taken maximum points off current leaders Leicester at the Valley

    Great BBC journalism, particularly as just before it they have;

    • Charlton have claimed six points out of 12 at Elland Road, since losing 3-1 in the Premier League in October 2000.

  • 0-0 half time and I can see us getting something out of it - even a win. Go behind and we will lose.

Having seen Leeds at Sheff W, that is my take too. They keep it tight at the back, but if they fail to create much in the first 45, they will start to get frustrated and give us a chance. I'm going for a 0-0 draw. However, I've been wrong before.

  • 0-1 Charlton another Solly screamer Anyone know how many fans we are taking to tonight's game.. And Saturday v Wolves..
  • Struggle to see a win, but a draw maybe. Working near Huddersfield today and driving over to game, buying on the door. Hotel in Leeds booked, so a thumping can be offset with a lot of cider.
  • Looks like Robbie Elliot is going , maybe in case it kicks off with Hamer
  • A trouncing, I'm afraid, though it's nice to get to use the word trouncing.

Just having a rummage round for a tin hat tonight...

  • Can't see anything other than a defeat. 2-0 to Leeds.
  • if we can keep a clean sheet for the first 20 mins and their supporters start to get on their backs then we'll only lose 3-0.
  • away form has been ok but can see a defeat tonight although a narrow one, 2-1 Leeds.
  • Can't see Hulse starting given his lack of games, so BWP will play up top on his own.

    Wilson Morrison Cort Solly
    Green Stephens Jackson Kerkar
    Razak
    BWP

Fancy us to get a point, we are much better at soaking up pressure and breaking out than forcing the pace at The Valley, we should have three away wins on the board already so there are reasons for optimism.

We really need BWP to nick us a goal tonight.
  • Can't see why people think green is unfit he ran his balls of sat , up and down must have covered at least 10 km , but because he had to defend for most of the game he's unfit . Give him a chance a couple of weeks back he was the best thing since sliced bread. We need him up the pitch with someone with the ability to pass the ball to him when he is wide right, that didn't happen sat. There are a few fustrated players in the team I can see it every game.
  • 2-0 to us. Leaving soon.

I hope not, BWP is not a lone striker. Hulse has been with us for a few weeks now and should be ready to start. With regards to green being unfit, i assumed that he had an injury from what had been said rather than not up for a game.
  • 1-2 the Haddocks as long as we go 4-5-1 with Hulse up top.

Keeper and back four pick themselves.
