    Hamer

    Solly cort morro wiggins
    Wagstaff jackson stephens Haynes
    Fuller BWP

    Subs: Button,Kermo,Green,Hollands,Taylor,Wilson,Kerkar

We need some pace in the team
  • Hamer

    Solly Cort Morro Wiggins

    Wilson Stephens Jackson Kerkar

    Fuller Kermo

    Subs
Button Taylor Evina Hollands Green Haynes BWP
  • Hamer
    Solly Morro Cort Wiggins
    Haynes Jacko Stephens Kerkar
    Fuller Kermo
  • Hamer, Solly, Wiggins, Morrison, Cort, Stephens, Wilson, Razack, Hughes. Kermorgant. BWP/Fuller.

4 5 1 (ish). Wilson wide right. Hughes in front of the back four. Stephens told to get forward. Fuller out leftish. Or if BWP plays Kermit a bit deeper with Wiggins getting forward. I've taken the approach of picking our best players and hoping the system would gel. Hughes will not play for us again so I realise it's a fantasy exercise. Until saturday I would have had Green as the first name on the sheet but he is too inconsistent. Wilson looks like he could do a job going forward. Not seen enough from fuller yet to justify the hype although I'm hopeful. He may be best as an impact sub. If BWP is in the team he needs service. He is trying his nuts off this year but we are unable to play to his strengths.
  • Hamer
    Solly Morro Cort Wiggins
    Wilson Stephens Razak Haynes
    Fuller Hulse

Button, DeVito (or whatever his name is) BWP Kermogant, Green, Jackson, Kerkar
  • if we play Jackson and Stephens in the center of midfield I can see us getting overrun in every game.

    Home 4-4-2
    Hamer
    Solly Morro Cort Wiggins
Green Stephens Rasak Kerkar/Jackson (would prefer a new left winger one with pace)
    Fuller Kermo

    Away 4-5-1

    Hamer
    Solly Morro Cort Wiggins
    Green Stephens Rasak Hollands Kerkar/Jackson
    Fuller

I know we all say the midfield is not good enough but I think playing Solly at left back has a massive influence on our whole team game. We struggle to forward down the left hand side and whenever Solly does get up there he has to waste time trying to get it onto hs right foot.
  • We seem to be picking up fresh injuries every week, which isn't going to help consistency. We've been without Kermorgant, Jackson and Wiggins the last few weeks, who were arguably our best three players last season, bar Solly.

if everyone was fit, I'd go for a 4-4-2:

    Hamer

    Solly, Cort, Morrison, Wiggins

    Green, Stephens, Pritchard, Jackson

    Fuller, Yann
  • All i know it certanly wasnt the team i watched saturday

    Blimey!

We could have the Arsenal back five from the 80's playing for us and they wouldn't stand a chance with that lot in front of them!

Danny DeVito at CB? And people complain that Chris Solly is small :-)

    solly morro cort wiggins
    green razak stephens kerkar
    Fuller Kerm/BWP

    Away

    Hamer
    Solly morro cort wiggins
    wilson pritchard razak stephens kekar
    Fuller

  • Home - Hamer Solly Cort Morrison Wiggins Waggy Stephens Razak Haynes Fuller BWP
Away - Hamer Solly Cort Morrison Wiggins Waggy Stephens Razak Pritchard Haynes Fuller
  • I am literally staggered how many have green in their side

The guy is woefully out if his depth

    Hamer

    Wiggins
    Morrison
    Cort
    Solly

    Wilson
    Stephens
    Razak
    Jackson
    Kerkar

    Kermognant

Or in a 442 drop one of the midfielders for fuller

Harsh on BWP as i like him but the other 2 are more effective
  • Hamer

    Solly
    Morrison
    Cort
    Wiggins

    Green/Wilson
    Razak
    Stephens
    Kerkar

    AN Other

    Fuller

With the right, creative player at "No 10" we'd be OK with these players in this system, but this position is a real conundrum. Neither Jackson nor Pritchard are equipped to play there and by reputation Razak is more of a holding player.

I've not seen Jordan Cook, is he a possibility? I guess Ruben Bover is too lightweight? We need some more quality. What's available in the loan market?
  • ...Would ya's would be a lot more boring.
  • Hamer
    Solly, Taylor, Morrison, Wiggins
    Green, Hollands, Jackson, Haynes
    BWP Fuller

    Subs
    Button
    Cort
    Evina
    Stephens
    Wagstaff
    Kermorgant
    Hulse/Razak
  • Back five no argument. Fuller no argument. In between:
    Devite
    Wagstaff, Razak, Pritchard, Haynes

This is based on hope rather than experience but
Jacko, Green, Hollands and Stephens have not impressed consistently.

Devite was effective in his cameo and has pedigree and we need someone in front of the back 4.

On the bench, Wilson Kerkar Kermorgant BWP Stephens
  • Not much/any mention for young Cook. I think he could be a good player for us, if given the chance.
  • Hamer

    Solly Cort Morrison Wiggins

    Wilson Stephens Razak Kerkar

    Wagstaff

    Fuller

Subs: Button, Dervite/Taylor, Jackson, Green, Haynes, BWP, Kermorgant

Get some pace in the side and make the midfield more solid. Look better playing 4-4-1-1 for me. Let's see what Razak can do in what is probably his natural position. Any combination of Stephens, Jackson and Hollands doesn't work for me.

Waggy behind Fuller isn't ideal, but he'd support the midfield with pace, energy and movement. Plus he'll actually get in the box when we put crosses in. As Mundell Fleming we'd ideally have a creative "number 10" playing there.
