  • I hope the Ipswich £30 is a sop to the prices they charged us at PR.
  • And it begins!
  • Not anything to do with sacking Rick Everitt.

Variable prices were discussed at the last (in both senses) Target 40k meeting in the summer long before RE or SK left.
  • They probably saw the BBC survey on ticket prices and acted. No mention of pasty prices though...
  • This is riduculous now. Between football for a fiver, the two for £30 offer and now this, its cheaper to buy every game singly than to have a season ticket. They said this woould not happen. Any more and I will reconsider my season ticket!
  • You'll never pay less than a ST price by paying for single tickets.

    Fail. 100% wrong.

    Complete nonsense.

    Wrong
  • Reconsider it my way would you? I'll whisper my address.

  • Most adults paid either £375 or £240 for their STs. The simplest way of looking at it is that's 15 x £25 or 12 x £20. If you bought later the prices were £425 and £290. So 17 or 14.5 games at standard prices.

In practice we always said we would be charging more for some games, but even if that didn't happen and there were six games completely free to other fans, you'd still be no worse off.

Where people usually go next is to say that the aren't able to attend every match, but that's missing the point of a season ticket. And unless you miss six or more games and then they are not the games with offers, which tend to be the weaker fixtures, you'll still be better off with a season ticket.

The plan for £30/£25/£22 games has been in every programme this season as well as on the website continuously.
