There are no right or wrong answers here. I was born mid 80's so here are mine.

1. Alan Curbishley - for 8 amazing seasons in the prem
2. Chris Powell - I dont think anything needs to be said
3. Richard Rufus - One club man and the best centre back I have seen in a Charlton shirt
4. Mark Kinsella - What a captain
5. Clive Mendonce - 98' playoff final

    born 1980 and can't argue with this! Steve Brown, Johnny Robinson, Dean Kiely, Darren Bent and Keith Peacock could also make the list

    1.Keith Peacock- Agree with Olly,clubs greatest servant.Even though I thought he was going to kill me once!

    5.Charlie Revell- Poor man missed out in 47 and had the impossible task of teaching me to play football at school!

    5. Steve Brown. I remember him being sent off, socks down, muddied shirt, and he just ignored the North stand who were singing his name. Not rude, just cool. Ha ha

    Chris Powell - as a player and a manager, he epitomises Charlton for me

    Johnny Robinson - never been a more committed player in a Charlton shirt

    Alan Curbishley - he got us our dream of regular top-flight football ... and when you have been following since the 60's, that means a lot


    No doubt that I could justify a couple of changes to that list, but happy with it as it is ... for now ;-)

    Bartram, Seed and Welsh are clearly legends but before my time. As were the later Firmanui and Summers. In no particular order - since seriously following us in 1975 - I'd say: 1) Rufus - My all time favourite player - best defender never to have played for England 2) Hales - Killer was my childhood hero and the most natural striker you could care to find 3) Powell - For his England Cap, performances and management 4) SuperClive - Wembley and his other goals and finally 5)Alan Curbishley for being such a great manager for us.
