Development Squad in action at the moment. Team v Luton: Pope, Osborne, Ajayi, Triallist, Evina, Bover Izquierdo, Jordan, Cousins, Cook, Smith, Azeez. (from Twitter). Any speculation on the Triallist?
Agree that he needs to bulk up, but from what I have seen of him (preseason and a couple of reserve/under 21 games) he has raw talent to pick a pass and dictate a midfield. Good set piece taker too. I reckon he may feature on the bench in the league by the end of the season, and get a couple of run outs. He could end up being the creative spark many have wanted, but obviously time will tell
I wish he was like Alan Simonson, but sadly he is not.Just my opinion after watching him in about ten games.I am not saying that all small, slight footballers will not make it I am just giving my opinion on Bover. He is poor in the tackle, has a bit of pace but is not express.Has a bit of dribbling ability, not bad at free kicks. All in all he is very ordinary,he seems to have a good attitude and Nathan Jones has made him captain of the U21s.Just because he is Spanish and slight doesn't make him Iniesta. The Championship, what I have seen of it so far, requires bigger more athletic midfielders and we have got one in Razak.
Maybe Ricardo Gardner? Just a guess seeing as he's on the PFA free transfer list and played in the Prem last year.
Good shout.
How about John Mensah? A free agent, played in the prem for Sunderland last year, and was always one of our annual links during the Curbs years. Had some injury issues last year, hence on the look out for a trial apparently.

it doesn't take a genius to realise this is who it is.

Looks like the Hatters had a strong side out for a BSP club
Long-term injury concern Danny Spiller finally made his first appearance in a Luton shirt as a Town development team lost 4-0 against a Charlton Athletic XI at the Addicks’ Sparrows Lane training ground yesterday, writes Mark Wood.
The 31-year-old midfielder came on to play the last 22 minutes as he continues to make progress from the achilles injury that hit almost as soon as he signed from Gillingham in the summer.
Spiller was one of a number of senior Hatters stars in action as Dean Beckwith returned from a groin injury to partner Janos Kovacs in the heart of Town’s defence, while Luton also gave a trialist the chance to impress in midfield.

He's not big, strong or quick so rest of his game needs to be very good to make up for that.
If he goes out on loan I expect it'll be at League 2 level at best.
I don't think Bover is better in those areas than say Stephens or Jackson.
Never played full back
