Thought the bloke was absoulte quality tucked in behind Benty yesterday in the second half, good touch, excellent awareness of what was around him, and did well with the pace of the game.
also will pards opt for a ambrose and rommers combo out wide after the latters obvious influence throughout the closing stages, or will he keep faith with JT who was average at best?
[cite]Posted By: The Boat[/cite]sounds good to me, will marcus be fit again?

in a word no (well he shouldn't)
i no rommers ball in was class, however, when was th last time he put in as many quality balls in the box as JT has last 2 games, never, prob not even if you combined all seasons efforts 2gether
back to ZZ has been pleasure c him comin off bench has really made a good impact each time, would like c him start gives us something diff that kinda 'energy' we haven't had b4. Not sure we'll c him start thou if every1's fit, if we do suspect it will b out on the wing, we need start with 2 up IMO and song and holland pretty much got central places lockt on and ambrose and JT seem b pretty much givens at mo.
Hope we can sign him permanatly thou come end of season
[cite]Posted By: bingaddick[/cite]I'd go with Thomas starting and Romm for impact later in the game.
as would i, romm doesn;t keep possesion well enough but with his pace good to bring l8 on, but i would bring on ZZ b4 him [poss at half time or on 60 min then rommers last 15/20 min if needed
Just a bit worried that he has two games in China in the week before the Wigan match - the 24th and 27th and then a long flight home before the game on the 31st.
There would not be many problems with ZZ playing 90 minutes, even after a trip back from playing two games in China. Most of the top players from the leading Asian teams, South Korea, Japan and China are renowned for being phenomenally physically fit and able to play a very high temp game even in the humid conditions they often endure. Look at South Korea in the 2002 World Cup when [admittedly with some helpful officiating] they ran over the top of several European sides with their fitness]. Plus, ZZ is clearly incredibly keen to play and would walk over broken glass to make it in the Prem, he would play 90 mins no problems at all.

There's something I really like about ZZ......skill, great movement and sheer bloody enthusiasm.......Hasselwank, are you listening??????
Holland, Song and ZZ just in front of them, does't sound to bad for Newcastle ?

if i only i had a quid for how many times i've said that this season
a genuine question having only seen him come on against Spam
Well he looked good for 45 on saturday. Don't see why he couldn't start and get a good 60-70 minutes
