Living in Cardiff for my sins - painful now they're top of league - and wondering if there are any fellow Addicks down this neck of the woods. If you are it would be good to hear from you.

    It's not so much the Welsh but the Cardiff fans that are unbearable. Got to beat them 6th November or it'll be a long winter!

    Got the train to a couple of Charlton games from Bridgend. Bizarrely was cheaper than going from Cardiff, despite being further.

    Hope they'll choke again!! Doesn't surprise me about the train. some crazy pricing. I'd rather go and watch Newport County whilst I'm here than Cardiff. Newport top of the conference too.

    Do you live in the Forest of Dean? I played Rugby at Berry Hill a good few years ago. Talk about your sister is your mother...We got off the coach and it was like walking into a scene from the Deliverence

    The cheapest I've found it was £12.50 one way, and a bit less back. Or vice versa. That's booking about 4/5 weeks ahead mind.

    Aberdare takes some beating thats on any night, I stayed there for 4 days many years ago and it was absolute carnage every night I was glad to get back to B&B in one piece.

    Are you in Newport then Idle hans? It is not a nice place! I was going to say not a nice Town but then realised it's now a city! At least Newport County going well but nothing else to recommend it. May be some nice parts but the centre is a shithole!

    Staying in hotels round Cardiff during the week - tried Newport, but only once! Cardiff's not a bad place, and I like the bay. I am just finishing up a contract at the business park in St Mellons. They wanted to keep me, but I am desperate to go home after 9 months of that. My three favourite letters are M4(E).

    (yes, I know four isn't a letter)
