get rid off the players and the coaching staff, sell the club then what do we do ?? there's alot of people with such negative thoughts.
Firstly i would love to see you manage a club or play for a club.
secondly we play shoddy at times but does this really call for all the negativity around the club.
Allthough it's good to be winning games and what not, it"s not always the case
at the end of the day we're supporters of OUR club whether we're top of the premier league or bottom of the blue square
all i see and hear is people being negative the minute something goes wrong.
tbh, my opinion of this season is to survive, build and create a team capable of playing in the championship,
having players willing to give it 100% EVERY game,Then crack at it next season.
I'm sure powell know's what his doing and what he wants to do, so let's get behind the boy's, they have to learn from their mistakes
(which are their to be made ).
The only thing that winds me up though is why does he leave making subs till gone 70 odd minutes.

I don't hear anyone calling for him to be sacked but the constant theme of most posters is this one.
I do though agree with the sentiment that we should continue to give the manager and the team our full support as they try to get to grips with the Championship.
this is a fans forum where fans give their views.
some people believe CP got it wrong last night, i personally dont think any changes he could of made would have made a difference. was just one of those nights.
its gonna be a long season so you gotta expect people to be negative sometimes.
The subs is a big problem though. I love Chris and think he's a great manager when it's happy times and all is rosy but I worry about his ability to change things up during a game and get a reaction and worry about how he deals with worrying/nervous times like now. Hopefully all our worries will be put to rest with a solid display on Saturday and some more patient football.
People are allowed to be critical of poor performances, poor tactics, poor decision making and are allowed to voice their opinions. Thats our right as fans. We pay our money and better to vent our anger on here and sometimes listen to reason from other fans than make things uncomfortable at The Valley. If anything most of the fans have been pretty positive and I am thankful there has been no booing (expect for some teenager behind me yesterday).
News to me.
burn the stadium, piss on its ashes, kick Keith Peacock in the head, write to the council to change the name of the area from charlton to nothingtoseeherevillage and then all pop down the den to support millwall.
come on you lions!
We just need to be more clinical when It comes to finishing.
He certainly didn't call CP a 'mug' or 'clueless amateur' as did the OP on the 'A Stubborn Amateur' thread and came out of it relatively unchallenged.
If we are lurking in the bottom 4/5 come Christmas, I'll eat my sherbet shoes if there aren't people on here calling for CP's head...
Some people have no clue. I even told 1 guy who was saying 'Powell out' exactly what I thought of his suggestion. Idiot!!
At the end of the day moaning will always achieve nothing.
During the Reed, Dowie, Pardew, Parky years, the moaning was natural as it was dire, but it's different now we have better plays who play for the shirt more often than not. I understand the criticisms of Powell and the substitution errors, but isn't it better just to show your support and be the 12th man during a loss of form.
Remember, we've got our charlton back.
