The problem is we have such little room for error and from here-on in we need too many things to go our way - including other results involving matches not involving Charlton while we need to take advantage of every half-break that comes our way.
City losing is a big result, as was our equaliser, but we couldn't afford Lisbie's late miss.
We still need five wins or four and a couple of draws. Come on guys it ain't over and you have to give the Pards and the team great credit for coming back from two down, whatever the crappy first half performance.
Given the changed defense this sort of result was very much on the cards, shame the final chance fell to Missbie.
Yeah, don't underestimate the effect of coming back from 2-0 on the remaining matches. This match shows we're now "hard to beat" and shouldn't give up.

Time is running short...
What would have happened at 2-0 down earlier in the season? We would have lost 3 or 4. It was a fightback. We are not going to get out of this hole by winning every game. Yes this was a winnable one. Maybe we should have won it, but I'd settle for a point, take the positives out of it and move on to our next game. Three points there and we're moving forward again. Wigan won at Citeh's expense so they will be more nervous. Sheff Utd dropped two points as well.
It just makes it more likely we might need to do a smash and grab at Anfield like Man U did today on the last day of the season...wouldn't that be exciting?! (Sorry I've got flu so am ranting a bit...)

Good point. Sorry but I'm not feeling too good about it.

Good point, Weegie. But......
........we should have done just that today. Super'kinKev......the goal is that BIG white thing 24 feet long and 8 'kin feet high. Just put the ball somewhere in inside. Other players do it all the time, you know......
Watched the highlights and once again can see Pardew has turned us around - pulling back from 2-0 down.
On the defence - we will have people back soon enough but did you see the quality of the football from Song and others ?
Home games in March are going to carry on from West Ham and we will soon be level with someone - I can see us climbing out of the bottom three and if we get a result Citeh away then we are sorted
