England have at last selected a semi-sensible team and have got off to a good start in the 'MUST WIN' game.

    What a pity that Simon Taufel is retiring, at the young age of 41, after this tournament. Along with Aleem Dar he is THE best in the world and has been for a long time. Let's hope that a senior role in some capacity awaits him

    why Prior isn't doing the job I'll never know .. I reckon Kieswetter and Dernbach's parents are old mates of Flower from back on the veldt .. he's giving their boys a chance .. at least we don't have to suffer Dernbach for this game

    Isn't prior south African as well? We've got Bairstow, lumb and buttler who can all keep, kieswetter is hopelessly out of form

    he is and Lumb was born there as well, his dad was a Yorks player for years .. I can just tolerate SAs playing for England if they warrant selection. Kies and Derny don't .. in my opinion ..

    Wright has been consistent this tourny though, he used to score 1 good innings out of 15 but has 2 already. You can't score runs every game. He's top scorer in tourney now aswell.

    mmmm 99 against the mighty Afghans, 6 v India and 0 (first baller) v Windies .. that to me smacks of consistent inconsistency .. still let's hope he retains this good form

    albeit against Afghan, he put the runs on the board and did so impressively. He has been Englands best batsman by far, and with him at 3 and Morgan at 4 I think we can beat anyone on our day. Kieswetter is due a good innings aswell.

    You were quite right by saying he is England's best scorer by far.

    It would be lunacy to leave him out.
