Disagree. Two points lost. These are MUST win games. We've already played our 'cock it up cards' for one season. Today was not a day to pretend we have another left.
I think you're underestimating how much of a disaster this result was. We've all been doing our predictions tables. Anyone who did it honestly will now have seen us slip back into the bottom three after 38 games.
Agree two points lost, but at 2-0 down at half time, playing like a butch of ##### surely 2-2 is a point gained, is in my book, makes tonight a bit better...

2 points lost for me. Forget the order of the goals - that just makes it FEEL better. We just turned 3 points lost into 2 points lost.

It should have been 3-2 at the end........
But - we still have a point more than we did this morning.
Anyway, prediction tables are not reality.
Maybe - quite often it can work this way - 'lost' points come back to us from an unexpected result.....like they did at Pompey away, for example.
Yes agreed Oggy, come on guys, I thought a week or two ago that we'ed probably draw with the Hamsters and beat Watford, so it was the other way round.
I just heard Pards on 5 Live, he sounded quite up beat. He acknowledged that we did not play in the first half. "Unbalanced" I think was the word he used. He said that the players could easily have thought at half time that with defenders injured and 2-0 down, there was no point in trying but they turned it around in the second half, played with great quality and perhaps should have won it at the end (take a bow superkev).
Positives have come out of this. Citeh were booed off by their fans. Sheff Utd were pegged back. We were the only team at the bottom to fight back. When was the last time we came back from two goals down, away from home?
Just got back,in first half el kak and fortune and sankofa were awful.sankofa just hasn't got a left foot and the other two the less said the better.zz superb song sublime, lisbie well it fell to the wrong person.bottom line 10 mad mins infirst half have cost us.second half we were superb.
Check out Pards on the club site, says it feels like a win, although the players are disappoined because of the miss at the end. So he's bound to put a good spin on things but as has already been said, this was an excellent point to take given the poor display in the first half.
I read that Pard's had been trying to work on the players attitude when things don't go right. Here again is evidence of the excellence of his approach and preparation.

Bit harsh on Sankofa NSS given he is a natural right footer and has rarely played at LB I feel he did alright, Elk and Fortune are enough to make anyone nervous when paired up

the great escape is still on!!
Come on - 2 minutes
How did he miss...
Final whistle 2-2.

I don't care who scores if it gets us a point! Three would have been nice, though.

But 43 was never realistic. Hope you're right though.

The Great Escape is still ON!

All still to play for.
Puts a lot of things into perspective.
As you say, all still to play for!
Come on you reds
If we can at least draw at Citeh we get our 40 which hopefully is enough.
Point gained in the circumstances.

Onwards and upwards!!
Is that the motto of RAFa Benitez?

Roughly translated as through adversity to the stars.
