It seems that our players are struggling at this level.I must admit the pace in this division has surprised me,I did not think it would be this quick.I believe only two of our players have real experience at this level.I know this team was put together in the belief that they could compete;however,we may need a couple of players who have experience at top level and can still cut it.I hope we can turn it around quicker as I fear that TJ will be itching to get Wise involved.

    I beleive they can compete if Powell just played the right midfield. Hollands and Stephens dont look good enough together, and Jackson looks totally out of his depth on the left. Also playing players in the wrong position all the time doesn't help. I reckon 4-5-1 is a must at Ipwich to try and stop the rot.

    Thing is when we have lost we have been shite but still in the game. Only lost by one goal in each. A few tweaks to the midfield and play people in correct positions we will pick up points.

    Considering the amount of football "experts" we have on here I am surprised at the amount of people that are surprised we are struggling in this league.

    There were plenty of threads doing the rounds at the end of last season saying we would finish mid table this year, the difference between league 1 and the bottom half of the championship is very little etc, etc.

    I got slaughtered for saying we would struggle unless we strengthened plus I also said BWP and Yann are not Championship strikers and I stand by it.

    It was only a few weeks ago people were posting on here saying "we won't come up against another team like Leicester" after they whipped the ball around the Valley at great speed for 20 mins...................................wanna bet?
