Didnt take long for the love-in to finish, hope the club stock nooses.. would do a good trade this morning

  • can't blame people for worrying about being in a relegation scrap. Are there 3 teams worse than the current team we have? probably not
  • We've averaged a point per game so far and if we do that for the rest of the season we'll stay up.

Highly unlikely. 46 points will usually relegate you. 50 points will usually save you.

  • Ridiculous thinking! I promise you no one was more fucked off than me about the performsnce and result - I lived in SE25 for 25 years and still have loads of mates there and am back there at least twice a week.

However, we haven't become bad overnight and the season has barely begun.

The performance was absolutely shocking though and, what looked like, total lack of confidence and fight is a big worry but Powell can sort that out.

I'm still hopeful of promotion via play off's if we can get an experienced player or two in. Saw Reo Coker, Jenas and Bentley mentioned earlier. One or two of them would make a massive difference
  • Bentley just went to Russia on loan

David Michael Bentley (born 27 August 1984) is an English footballer who plays for FC Rostov on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. He is usually played as a winger, but also plays in central midfield or as a second striker.

Or are we talking different Bentley?
  • Blimey, Bentley is already 28 ....?

  • I imagine that was the same Bentley another poster mentioned earlier. I hadn't a clue where he was or what he was doing but thought / think he would be an asset to us

That's what Spurs fans have been saying for the past couple of seasons.

  • Fair point Oggy but at our current level...
