What would you have done ?

When wiggins picked up an injury I wouldn't have brought Wilson on, I would have stuck jacko at left back and kerkar in left mid , allowing solly to stay in his right position, good idea ?

  • Jackson would of been torn apart by Zaha.
  • Jacko would have been skinned alive at left back.
  • I would've started loads of threads instead of putting it into the post match one

Good point, would still like to see kerkar get a proper runout though
  • I think it was the right decision, Jacko would have really struggled against Zaha - at least Solly could match him for pace & energy. From what I was watching Wilson played well at RB - he wasnt the problem for us it was the fact we were out muscled & out thought in midfield too often.

I think Wilson did well to be fair , I just want to see Kerkar as he looks good
  • Kerkar should arguably have started in front of Jackson from the start - we looked so one paced all across the middle...
  • With seven subs to pick I'd have found room for Evina. Why is Smith on the bench?

Agreed , I received a lot of hate on here last week for stating Kerkar should be given the runout ahead of Jackson, nice to see some similar views

Yeah , evina could have been a mismatch against zaha though, do find powells subs strange, but he's the boss so can't argue

  • Wiggins was getting skinned by Zaha before he went off. I could've skinned Wilson.
  • Manager clueless with changes. The forwards were getting nothing from midfield and the midfield had to be addressed first. I would have dropped Jackson to lb and bought on Kerkar. Then Fuller for Kermongant. SCP not good with changes I'm afraid.

I thought that too....Wiggins didnt seem like he fancied it.
  • Left ou best player in his best position
  • Would definitely have made earlier subs, Chris has a habit of a 75th minute substitution

    This.
  • Evina must be prety fed up, not on the bench much last season, not on the bench again this season when we have 2 more spaces available...
  • I think Powell did the right thing. Jacko against Zaha would have been hard to watch.
  • clearly no1 hear has a better solution to the injury so in my books sounds like a good decision especially since jacko would never of been able to handle zaha
  • Wilson was the best player in a charlton shirt. Was a good change considering it was forced.

I've got one possitive point to make about last nights game @WSS, but really can't see suitable thread to squeeze it into. In a proper pickle as to what to do.....?

    ; )
