Where does charlton rank in your priorities?

edited September 2012 in General Charlton
Level 1. Not at all really. I would rather walk my dog round a park then go to millwall at home. If or when someone asks me what team I support I just say charlton.

Level 2. If charlton are in the premier league I go to the games because it is cheaper then arsenal and I get to see good football.

Level 3. I attend the home games when I can, but if I'm busy then I'm busy, charlton and football doesn't mean a lot to me compared to more important things in life.

Level 4. I have a season ticket and or I get a ticket for neally every game I can make. My money situation and my family/friends/girlfriend arrangments I would still priortise beforehand.

Level 5. I go every single game possible. If iam unfortunate enough to have something like a family/friend wedding on a Saturday afternoon/Tuesday night then I would give in to that out of kindness, but even during a wedding ceremony I would be on my iPhone checking the CAFC match update on twitter.

Level 6. I am charlton through and through. I go to every single game even pre season away in Japan or something. I don't have any family left as my only love in life is charlton and nothing comes before that. It's as simple as not really having any feeling for anything else apart from charlton.

So what level are you?

I'm a level 4/5 as I assume most people on here would be.

I hope I haven't just answered my own question...

  • I am Level 5. I hate to miss a game, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I did. I do arrange my life around the fixture list though(including holidays).
  • none of the above

play football myself so go to games when i dont play or if its a big planned away trip
  • 1 - In fact I don't even know why I'm here?
  • Somewhere between 4 and 5.

i thought this web site was about Charlton Heston when i signed up to it.
  • level 7 - i sleep outside the ground everynight in my charlton duvet waiting for matchdays.
  • Level 5, missed plenty of family/events due to Charlton games, sad I know but its a drug i'm not ready to give up yet.
  • Used to be a 5....now more like a 3.

  • I have a season ticket but if something more important comes up I am not bothered to miss a game so I guess that makes me a 3
  • 4/5 - The only reason I miss a home game is if I'm too ill to go (Once in 4 years) or if my Son isn't well and I have to look after him (also once). Family events??? That can work around Charlton!!!!
  • 4/5 for me.....and sometimes wish for the odd spell as a 6!!!!

    Exactly the same.
  • When it comes to HOME games I'd have said 5 (I didn't miss one third tier LEAGUE game at home as far as I recall) but with a young grandson can see myself becoming a 3 although I have two season tickets.

I've missed the first two home league games but, work permitting, hope to be able to watch the Crystal Palace match.
  • Not too sure. I dont really care about the club, in fact I dont even like football, but I do have "Charlton Athletic are number one in South London and I am their 'biggest' fan" tattooed on my penis

    So on that basis, 3?
  • I am between 4 and 5 now ,but have been both a 3 and 6 in the past depending on what else was going on in my life over the last 40 years .
  • Level 5. Never miss a home game & do most of the aways. Never missed a home game by choice in 40 years. I only miss one if I really can't get out of it, like a family wedding. I've never missed a game because of work.

  • I am a 3-4 I have a season ticket but if something really important related to the family crops up I duck out.
  • 1 - I only stumbled across this site looking for train times from Charlton railway station
  • level 4 - got a season tkt and don't like missing home games, probably do anywhere between 1-5 aways a season.

Family comes first though for me.
