  • A hard fought 1-0 win, with a 2nd string side - I'd happily go out this evening or stay in and continue to play our fringe players in later draws.
Not to go too far off subject, I'm still hoping we'll sign 1 or 2 players the next fortnight and then with us concentrating on the league I can start to dream of a 6th place finish!
  • Orient is my local team and I also work with a number of O's fanatics.

My experience of them is that they are even more pessimistic than we are and most of them are expecting a defeat tonight as a prelude to a season of struggle .

My hunch 2-0 to the Addicks ,but we are made to work for it.
  • From little bits of twitter, I think Hamer, Wilson, Evina and Green to start.
  • Clarke to score a last minute screamer to win the game. He then kisses the badge and jumps into the crowd as the east stand erupts

What nonsense. Will never happen. "the east stand erupts" really. ;0)

  • From little bits of twitter, I think Hamer, Wilson, Evina and Green to start.

Well good news if Wilson features because it means we have satisfied Stevenage Borough regarding his transfer to us. Be nice if it's true, and awful if we field an ineligible player (in Wilson).

  • Any ideas on what stands they will open up??? All in the west and east maybe, north closed??

Where is there any basis for suggesting Wilson isn't eligible to play for us? If we hadn't satisfied Stevenage Borough regarding his transfer, I shouldn't imagine they would have been happy to let him sign a contract with us, train with us and represent us in pre-season friendlies.

I know a lot us have concerns following about the club at the moment, but I don't think it helps to muddy the waters further with baseless speculation about incomplete transfers or fielding ineligible players.

  • this lot deserve a shoeing after ruining last New Years Eve.

  • 4-1 easy win. 3 nil half time and one each in the second. Waggy to get 2.
  • These games are so hard to predict. I'll go for a dodgy 2-1 win.

Baldock to be in the crowd

    Baldock will be the crowd
  • Alf Baldock from East Grinstead???
  • Hopefully none of that KL shit today, but if there is hopefully people will voice their displeasure! I think I only heard it at Brentford away surprisingly, although I missed new years eve at LO due to being in Amsterdam. (was not the performance to watch on Sky in a hotel room on New Years Eve)

I won't be in my native H block today, will be enjoying the show with my lower north brethren!

I predict a small crowd, so no KL song, a reserve type side and quite a dull performance tbh. Not one for the girlfriend but she will only work that out when it's too late!
  • Chances are, Lisbie will end up having one L of a Week
