    No doubt Social Media is awash with Liverpool and Man City fans either playing up the win, or writing it off as nothing more than a glorified friendly... Depending on who supports who... :D

    A definite benefit for Liverpool in that Nunez scored while Haaland missed a sitter, that first goal for a striker is always crucial

    With City signing Haaland and Liverpool losing Mane I had thought The Premier would be a one horse race this year. After seeing Haaland and Nunes yesterday perhaps not.

    Think we can all agree now that this trophy is cursed. I don't know what happened (or who did the voodoo spell), but whoever wins it is cursed for that season.
