August 1968 - first home game of the season, lost 4-3. One of my first Charlton games, so a memorable occasion. It could be earlier but three other clues suggest 1968: first, Bury are in the division; secondly, the reference to the end of Millwall's record unbeaten home run in January 1967 ( when their fans invaded the pitch and gave the poor old ref a serious kicking ); and, thirdly, I think I recognise the advertisement for the florists from looking through looking at old programmes a few years ago ( honestly ).
