  • Iwelumo in the last minute against Saint's.
  • Colin Walsh on that special day, back at the Valley.
  • Some great goals and more important ones than the one I'll highlight but remember going especially nuts when Pards scored the winner against Southend in the 4-3 game at The Valley when we opened the East Stand. 3-0 up and they clawed it back in typical Charlton "throw-it-away" fashion and then remember Pardew bursting through to score. I cheered so loudly I nearly did a Stressed Eric lol.
  • Murphy from the fox in the box from Thomas V Birmingham - sheer class!
  • Rufus at Wembley.
  • fortune.
  • Different era's
Hales goal on the Big Match set up by Powell.
    Walsh....first game back
    Jenson......Highbury
    Bartlett.....Valley.
  • Hughes against villa was a goal that I went over the top mental at

Remember that well, header from close range wasn't it?

  • Danny Mills at Villa, Jensen tackle lob at Man city especially with Weaver in goal, but my all time favourite was Jensen at Arsenal

To tough to decide but another classic that is worth mentioning from the premier years, Fortune sending Palace down.
  • Hughes against villa was a goal that I went over the top mental at

Yea. Last minute. 1-0 down bent equalizes. Barry gets sent off then hughesy with a header in the last minute.
  • Parker away at Leeds to win it 2-1 after being 1-0 down. One of the last away days before I started drinking in which the games become more of a blur.
  • Morts at home to Forest. Pure silk. Or Rufus at Wembley, can't decide.
  • Ray Treacy at the Valley VS Derby County is second to Super Clive's hat-trick goal at Wembley for the sheer emotion of it - good goal too!

Loads of obvious ones but two odd choices that stick in my mind are Jon Hendry v Millwall and Webster's volley against Bristol City, both at Upton Park. I was a kid so they seem more special for some reason.
And you can add Peter Garland v Bolton when we were first back at The Valley. Was sat right behind it as it arrowed into the top corner from 30yards.
  • Robbo vs Man United. THAT celebration
  • Powell's goal in his last ever match
  • That Parker goal at Leeds was totally ridiculous!

The Hendry and Webbo goals at Upton Park mentioned above really stick in the memory.

Can't remember who scored it but was a night game at Pompey and I think we won 2-1? David White maybe?

Leaburns equaliser at Newcastle for 2-2 drawer when he was laid flat out by the keeper.

Leaburns goal at Southend when he rounded everyone twice.....mental!

    Dennis in the last minute!
  • Aizlewood's equaliser against spurs in the cup in 84.

  • Jensen v Arsenal
Bartlett's diving header v Spurs away when we won 3-2 and he got sent off
Anthony Barness's v Grimsby at Upton Park was a cracker only problem was it was in the wrong net.
  • thought we was only allowed one.
    lisbie at stamford bridge.
  • Shaun Newton vs Ipswich in the play off at the Valley. A roar like a sonic boom that went on for about an hour (well it seemed like it!).

I was in the Lounge at The Valley when Parker scored at Leeds, pandemonium would be an understatement. Some of the goals I remember the best were at away games where we'd been under the cosh and pulled something out, Plymouth away in the cup in 1981 probably being top of the list.
  • Paul Mortimer away to norwich and his away to man city at main road pure class
  • Shirtliff against Leeds at St Andrews. Euell at Highbury. Jensen v Man Unt.
  • El Karkouri vs. Blackburn
    Jensen vs. Blackburn
    Robinson vs. Man Utd

    in no particular order.
  • Paul Mortimer away to norwich and his away to man city at main road pure class

Actually, if we're judging this on technical merit, just about any of Mort's efforts walk away with it. He seemed to be able to drbble at speed, then go from 60 to 0 instantly, change feet and roll it in the corner like it was a practice match.
  • Kinsella away at Bolton when we wore green and white hoops for the only (?) time....last game ever at Burnden Park I think

Powell's goal in his last ever match

This. Only goal that made me cry
  • Kim Grants goal against Bristol City in the FA Cup in 94 always sticks in my mind, got us to Old Trafford! Always remember winding the tape back and Motty shouting....Grant, still Kim Grant.............
