8th, despite the lack of signings and supposed issues around the club, I have a lot of faith in Powell and this group of players. Playoffs not out of the question but I think it would be a bit of a stretch.
If our key players from last season Solly, Kermo, Hollands, Wiggins (the list goes on) stay and we bolster with 2-3 who enhance our abilities, then I'd hope for 8th-10th. If we see exits this summer or winter for any of our core 1st team, would be happy with 18th-20th.
I think it is imperative that we get off to a good start which will then make or break the season. Our first 6/7 games look really tough but if we can pick up a result at an expectant Birmingham with their many new players then it could build from there. Might need a new striker and a midfielder in the mould of Mendonca/Holmes from 97/98 but I feel postive it might be playoffs.
Always wondered where the term 'shit sandwich' came from !
Obviously applied to Bunny's comment but regarding the actual origins - AFKA you already probably know this but for those that don't the term comes from the glorious adage -
'Life is like a shit sandwich - the more bread you've got the less shit you eat'
This is probably even more appropriate now than when I first heard it in the late 1970's.

11th in the championship. KTF!
£20 with whose ever teams finished lower in the league paying to the other's chosen charity. Demelza for me, Geoff Thomas Cancer fund for SOS.
I lost but hey it was and is a good cause.
I know AFKA tried to arrange something similar with one of the Glazier forums but the kept delete the threads.
I wonder if SOS is still around and fancies it again.
And before you ask, no, offer not open to spanners.
