Parkinson and Pires sold to Woking in close season (both were under 24 and left and clubs agreed compo).
Pugh went to cambridge for 15k last christmas.

Welling have signed. Jon Main (Who a lot of you will have heard of) and google will show was a prolific scorer for AFC dons, hes been injured last season, if back fit hes a handful and natural scorer who could get 30 plus in the league.
Also signed Fraser Franks to replace Parkinson, young tall center half (like Parkinson) from AFC dons
Also signed keeper Sam Mott from Thamesmead who Dagenham were sniffing around last season, highly rated young keeper by all accounts.
Also signed a fast young ex Millwall youngster who was released from Grimsby Kiernan Hughes-Mason to replace Pires. can play wide or up top and is very quick although probably wont play against you as has a knock.

As for best players, Left Back Jack Obersteller, probably flying full back who is good enough to play league football imo. Joe Healy is a clever player in Midfield but got sent off 3 times last season. would possibly have gone close for Player of the Season otherwise.

Player of the season was Loui Fazakerley at Right back.

Will probably be a fairly settled Welling line up tomorrow as most of them been at PVR for 3 seasons now.

  • Mainy has signed for them. Ackworth will be doing his beans on saturday!
  • I know Jon Main very well. Really nice bloke, very humble and just loves playing football. No ego about him at all.

With the greatest of respect to Welling, I thought he'd at least be in the Confernce Premier this season.
  • He hasnt played for quite a while tho. local club for him to get back to full fitness makes sense.
  • Went to school with Joe Healy. Good player.

    Fair point, well made.
