  • Aren't they the club that signed Denilson back in the 90s? Whatever happened to them?
  • A three team round robin playing 45 minute games?
    Interesting idea.
  • What trophy do we win?

    What trophy do we win?
la taza de la gente ... apparently! :-0

    (The People's Cup)
  • Bloody hell. Seriously gutted I can't go now!!
  • Iam Going Again So Is It The Peoples Cup Trophy

Manuel Ruiz de Lopera happened to them.

If you think there are some crooks over here involved in football you should see some of the Southern European lot!!
  • 45 minute game? I wonder if they will still swap end mid=way through?
  • Good idea if you're playing the first and second half or the second and third half. Not so sure if you're playing the first and third, warming up, playing, cooling down and then doing over again. Could result in injury if not done correctly.
  • Just heard Chris talking about the Welling game and saying that no-one would play more than 45 minutes for exactly that reason. They don't want them playing a full 90 for the first games back. Suspect this will be the same and at least we have games 1 & 2 rather than 1& 3.

  • I went to a similar tourney a couple of seasons ago featuring three oldest clubs, Sheffield FC, Hallam FC and Cray Wanderers. Format worked well and was entertaining. I thought the team with the disadvantage was the one playing 2nd and 3rd matches but I don't recall it making a great deal of difference.
  • Would've had a mooch down there had it been in northern Spain, bit far though right down south....
