The venue for Charlton's pre-season match against Sporting Clube de Portugal has reverted to Lepe

    Maybe our club bank with RBS and that's why we are slow to get moving in the transfer market and there was rumours of a cash flow problem?

    It could of course be the other way round, they other members of the board/mysterons, could have threatened to dump TJ, and the ground change was simply a shot across the bow, along the lines of "we don't need you or your ground".

    Of course, it's all conjecture, nobody knows or is likely to find out any time soon.

    He didn't throw his toys out of the pram, he and the other investors ran up a £150k debt that nearly got them forcibly relegated and as a result their shares were transferred across to the local authority (see post on other thread).
