He didn't throw his toys out of the pram, he and the other investors ran up a £150k debt that nearly got them forcibly relegated and as a result their shares were transferred across to the local authority (see post on other thread).

Maybe our club bank with RBS and that's why we are slow to get moving in the transfer market and there was rumours of a cash flow problem?
