uefa u19 tournament 2012

being held in estonia from today until the 13 July

England have france, serbia and croatia in their group!
most matches are on eurosport or eurosport 2 although england havent got a match on until next monday against france (not sure if another channel is covering it?!
top 3 from each group (other group is spain, portugal, greece and estonia) qualify for world u20 cup in turkey next summer

England managed my noel blake, technically meant to be the same team that won u 17 tournament for us a few years back, although dont see connor wickham in there and a few other faces, although i know michael keane, ross barkley, nathan redmond, benik afobe and harry kane will be known to a few on here! we have a decent team and a decent chance, though no team has ever gone from winning u17 tournament to then win the u19 tournament.

we are playing croatia at the moment 65minute, were losing but just equalised to make it 1-1 - chalobah scored for england!

    cant see the england game. just spain v greece and serbia v france.

    i found a pretty poor stream that kept cutting out so just gave up, but there should be some more streams for the next one against serbia! drew 1-1 in the end, not bad against croatia who always produce quality teams! will let you know if i find a stream for the next game!
    also greece were outplaying spain at times, who in the second half looked quite average and gave the ball away a lot euro 2012 england style! their best player though was suso who plays for liverpool centre mid!

    england v greece 1-1 at the moment. gone into extra time. goalkeeper for greece has been sent off. We had a penalty for the sending off, and as typical of anyone representing our country, it was saved.

    so good that its on eurosport. Its so nice not to have a commentator going crazy screaming the guy’s name everytime someone has a shot.

    na, i didn’t see it. all i know is that it wasnt a penalty and the sub goalie saved it. ref apparently has been terrible.

    terrible defending. great finish.

    brief mention on the radio. don’t know about ssn. papers are never bothered about youth tournaments until it reaches under 21 level. Internet is the best bet to find news and live streaming.

    if we won the tounament, there might be a paragraph in the papers and a quick mention on a sport news programme.
