    Luke Young came through the ranks at Tottingham Hotspuds.
    Charlton paid £2 million for him.

    So he doesn't count.
  • Then there's Mike Bailey (who also managed Charlton and won promotion, lest we forget) and capped by England while still a Charlton player.

    And perhaps a place for Bobby Curtis, Keith Peacock and Brian Kinsey?

  • Steve Brown might make it ahead of Solly at RB? Darren Pitcher and Shaun Newton would be fighting for places on the bench

    We do seem a bit light up front if you don't count Defoe, as Paul Walsh was 30 years ago and nobody of that class has come through since, and not many beforehand. Carl Leaburn...
