Shame we won't be able to move it to Sat 11th. Some clubs will apparently be allowed to do that if both clubs agree. It will have to be Tuesday 14th so it is post-Olympics.
The televised games will be Fleetwood v Forest and Swindon v Brighton
Didn't I see that we already have the Fulham (behind closed doors) game on the Saturday (11th). I think the option to play at the weekend is only for the non-London games anyway.
Weird that our first competitive match will be a cup game, maybe powell will treat it as a last preseason match and play a few first teamers instead of switching all 11
1980/1981 was the last time the season started with a League Cup game (Brentford over 2 legs) before we played our first League fixture which was at home to Brentford!
Seeing as this will be the first home game of the season, how many people are going to bother to go? When do tickets go on sale?
I don’t know about you but I don’t think this actually exists. I wouldn’t bother trying to get tickets, it’s probably some sort of time share scam headed by capital one.
i see they’ve got you already. yeah pay the £10 and go to the 'match' (more likely a presentation) listen to some guy saying that this is a once in a lifetime offer before you know it you have gone and put a down payment on a luxury apartment. only problem is the apartment hasn’t been built yet. you have just brought some land. The local council in which your new land is situated are suing you for the harmful waste dumped there which has now contaminated the whole area. Before you know it you have to sell the kids just to keep afloat. I’ve seen it all happen before.
