They said it was too big so escorted me out made me take it to the left luggage and queue up all over again through the one gate to get in. Good jov we tried getting in with plenty of time the scrum was chaos. Then when i finally got in people had flags big enough for a wedding marque so just rubbish really. Didn't chance it in Kiev but they were a lot more leniant and organised there.

So how the fox did that Russian flag get in?? I realise it's a different stadium but jeez, that flag was bigger than the pitch!

    Taking a flag?
  • Gutted is not the word. Was through the payment screen on a day trip out to the quarters (day off work a no go), clicked through, it froze to load and came up sold out in the end. Choice between £649 for Thomson flights then have to pay 80 Euro for a ticket, transfers to/from Gatwick, food and booze on top or watch it in the pub. Pub wins :(

If and that's a big if, we make the semi I will be back out with ticket in hand - no way in this world I can follow England round the world for years watching shite and then miss a semi against the Germans!!
Might book a one way flight to Warsaw now as a gamble, so sorry if I've jinxed it.
